One roof, one team, one responsibility

Singgahsana was founded in Singapore in 2009 on a refusal. Its founder — a designer who had watched projects fray across a chain of decorator, contractor, carpenter, and project manager, each blaming the last — refused to run an interior studio that outsources its conscience. The name means a place of gracious rest, and the studio's model is built to deliver exactly that: one in-house team carrying a project from first sketch to handover, so the client has a single throat to choke and, more politely, a single team that answers.

What we do

The atelier designs and builds fully bespoke residential and commercial interiors: concept and spatial planning, custom joinery made by our own master craftsmen, lighting, furnishings, and site management through to handover. A deliberately small team of designers, project managers, and craftsmen — decades of combined experience among them — handles a limited number of projects each year, which is how every project gets principal-designer attention rather than a handover to whoever's free. Contracts are fixed-price and written in plain language, and workmanship carries a 24-month warranty because we plan to still be here when it's tested.
