Founded the studio in 2009. Leads residential work above S$800K and all new business direction.
A boutique interior design studio in Singapore handling every project in-house — from concept and joinery to handover and after-care. Fifteen years on, we still cap our year at forty-two projects so every client is led by a principal designer.
The studio began as a six-hundred-square-foot room above a coffee roastery in 2009. Sixteen years later, we still choose to stay small — turning away seventy-one percent of the enquiries that arrived in 2024 so that the projects we accept get principal-designer attention from first sketch to final styling.
“We were never trying to be the biggest studio in Singapore. We were trying to be the one whose name you still remember fifteen years after the keys are handed over.”
Our studio model keeps the four designers pictured below at the helm of every engagement. They are supported by nine interior designers, five project managers and four master craftsmen — but your project lead is named on day one and stays through handover.

Every cabinetry piece, vanity and feature wall is built in-house at our MacPherson workshop by four master craftsmen on a ten-to-fourteen-day lead time — well under the six-to-ten-week waits typical of outsourced joinery. Owning the line is what lets us quote a single fixed price, then stand behind a twenty-four-month workmanship warranty that triples the industry baseline.

Week 0 · S$280
Ninety minutes with a senior lead designer at Armenian Street. We walk the floor plan, agree on a brief, and either decline the project or quote a fixed price within seven working days.
Weeks 2–8
A single design direction, three joinery prototypes from the workshop, and one fixed-price contract covering every line item — from custom cabinetry through MEP coordination to final styling.
Weeks 8–28
A dedicated project manager and your principal coordinate the contractor, joinery delivery and styling. The client portal publishes weekly photo updates against a milestone schedule.
Week 30 onward · 24-month warranty
A documented handover, two seasonal check-ins, and a twenty-four-month workmanship warranty on joinery and finishes — backed by the same principal who led the design.
We design thirty-eight to forty-two projects a year, intentionally. The four below are drawn from the most recent completed work — a landed house in Bukit Timah, a Good Class Bungalow in Nassim, a condominium in Meyer Mansion and a twelve-cover restaurant in Tanjong Pagar.

Ninety minutes at our Armenian Street studio with one of the four principals. We walk through your floor plan, brief and budget in detail, agree on whether we are the right studio, and either decline or send a fixed-price quote within seven working days. The S$280 is redeemable against an accepted project.
It is the only way we can guarantee the design language we are known for and the level of after-care our past clients expect. The four principals average eighteen years in the industry; their attention is the part of the studio we cannot scale, which is why we turn away roughly seven in ten enquiries each year.
Our 2024 residential average was S$612,000 across condominium and landed work. The bulk of the projects we accept sit between S$400K and S$2M. Commercial and hospitality work averages S$1.4M and is project-based rather than regional.
A condominium typically runs twenty-six to thirty weeks. A landed house runs closer to twelve to fourteen months. We do not promise timelines shorter than the documented ten-to-fourteen-day joinery lead time from our MacPherson workshop, which we own and operate.
Our studio is in Singapore and most of our work is too. We have completed projects in Phuket and Kuala Lumpur on a project basis — we do not maintain regional offices and we do not travel without a confirmed brief.
Design, custom joinery from our in-house workshop, MEP coordination, project management, on-site styling and the twenty-four-month workmanship warranty. Most contractors report fifteen-to-twenty-two-percent overruns on segregated contracts — ours is one contract, one number, one date.
We cap the year at forty-two projects so that we can give each one the time it deserves. If you are planning a full condominium or landed renovation in the S$250K–S$2M range and would like to talk to a senior lead designer, we would be glad to hear from you.
